Here at Faith Bible Church Student Ministries, our goal is to enable students to meet Jesus, know Jesus, and serve like Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20).
We believe it’s Jesus—and the Gospel—that can change lives forever and bring life with eternal impact. Whatever our students’ circumstances or stories, FBC Student Ministries (Crossroads) is a place where they can belong.
Sunday Morning Crossroads
Middle School and High School students (6th-12th grades) gather weekly for Sunday Morning Crossroads on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. All students meet in the lower level for some “hang-out” time before each age group goes to their respective groups.
In these groups, students grow in their devotion to Jesus through the study and discussion of God’s Word. If you have any questions about Sunday AM Crossroads, please feel free to reach out to the FBC church office (319-393-7790).
Middle School Crossroads
We love our middle-schoolers! During this pivotal time of growth and transition in their lives, we have a special opportunity to meet them where they are and guide them towards Jesus. They’re asking questions about their identity like: “Where do I connect? Who am I? What’s unique about me?” What a privilege to point them towards Jesus for these answers! Our goal is to walk alongside them—along with their parents—to cultivate a meaningful faith journey that shapes them in positive, lasting ways.
MS Crossroads takes place on Wednesday nights in the lower level here at FBC from 6:45-8:30pm. We start with some hangout time/games, followed by worship/music, large group teaching, and small group discussions we call “cell groups” led by our committed adult leaders who are passionate about knowing Jesus and helping our middle school students grow in Him.
We also host regular events, retreats, and service opportunities for our middle school students to connect and grow. Click HERE to find out more about our events / see our current calendar.
High School Crossroads
High school students are at a crossroads in life, asking big questions about the world around them: “Who am I? Where do I belong? How can I make a difference?” We believe those answers are found in Jesus & the Word of God! We work hard to help students (and their parents) find these answers of identity, belonging and purpose.
HS Crossroads takes place on Wednesday nights in the lower level here at FBC from 6:45-8:30pm. We begin with some hangout time/games, then come together for worship, large group teaching and interaction, and finish with small group discussions we call “cell groups”. These are led by our dedicated and committed team of adult leaders.
Our HS students also join in on regular events, retreats, service opportunities, and summer ministry trips – all designed to help them grow in their relationship with Christ and others. Click HERE to find out more about our events / see our current calendar.
