“Fifth Commandment: Honor Your Parents”
Exodus 20:12; Romans 1:29-30; Ephesians 6:1-3
I. Israelites were to hnor their parents in order to live for a long time in the land of promise (Exodus 20:12).
II. The New Testament sees obeing parents as the result of the Holy Spirit’s control (Romans 1:29-30); Ephesians 6:1-3).
Main Idea: God enriches the lives of His people who honor their parents.
