I. Jesus presented Himself as Israel’s promised King when He approached Jerusalem on a donkey colt (Luke 19:28-38).
II. Israel’s religious leaders rejected Jesus as King (Luke 19:39-40).
III. Israel would have experienced peace if they had accepted Jesus as King, but instead the nation would experience judgement (Luke 19:41-44).
Main Idea: Accepting Jesus brings peace, but rejecting Him brings judgement.
