“Seeing the Cross”
Matthew 20:17-34
I. Jesus willingly and knowingly goes to Jerusalem to die (:17-19).
II. Jesus’ followers promote themselves when they fail to see His cross (:20-28).
III. Jesus shows that He is Messiah going to Jerusalem to die (:29-34).
Main Idea: We stop promoting ourselves when we see Jesus’ cross.
