I. Trying to do something for Jesus without depending on Jesus is to fail (Luke 9:37-43a).
II. Rivalry keeps Jesus’ followers from really seeing the cross (Luke 9:43b-45).
III. When Jesus’ followers do see the cross, trying to figure out who is more important becomes irrelevant (Luke 9:46-50).
Main Idea: Seeing Jesus’ cross helps His followers rightly see each other.
