I. The Lord’s Anointed One announces His commission (Isaiah 61:1 3; also see Luke 4:16-21).
II. Israel will fulfill God’s role for them to be a nation of priests in the Kingdom (Isaiah 61:4-9; also see Exodus 19:6).
III. Jerusalem rejoices in the Lord’s deliverance (Isaiah 61:10-11).
Main Idea: God sent His Anointed One to bring good news to hurting people.
