“Third Commandment: Don’t Misuse the Name of the LORD”
Exodus 20:7
I. God’s people must not misues the name of the LORD (Exodus 20:7).
II. The New Testament affirms that we must not misuse the name of God (Matthew 5:33-37 [also James 5:12] and Matthew 6:9).
Main Idea: We must honor God’s character and attributes.
