Text Giving

1. Text “give” to 319-209-9359
2. If it’s the first time you are giving by text, you’ll receive a link. Follow that link and you’ll be asked to supply your payment method (credit / debit card or bank account). This payment source will then be linked with your phone number. In the future, all you will need to do is text in the amount (you will not need to re-enter your payment information).
3. To modify (or stop) text giving, text “update” to 319-209-9359
4. Some useful text giving commands:

Command	Description
give	A response will ask how much you’d like to give.
Giving Examples:
$50	Donates $50 to your church. You can type any amount; the dollar sign is optional.
$50 weekly	Sets up a recurring gift of $50 each week. Frequency options are ‘weekly’, ‘biweekly’, ‘monthly’, and ‘yearly’.
$50 missions	Donates $50 and designates a fund using a keyword. You can only give to one fund at a time.  The following keywords are available:· general – give to the church’s General fund missions – gives to the Missions-General, Undesignated fund bene – gives to the Benevolence fund building – gives to the church’s Building fund
$50 missions weekly	Combines the command “weekly” (gift recurs once a week) with the fund designation.  In this example, this command gives $50 every week to the Missions-General, Undesignated fund.

Other Helpful Commands:
commands	A response will give you a link where you can see a list of the available text commands.
refund	Refunds the previously given contribution.
update	A response will give you a link where you can make changes. This allows you to update your payment method or recurring gift.
unlink	Unlinks your phone from the text-to-give system.
